I wanna know if it is possible to overclock this to DDR2 1066 and if it can, how would I go about doing it? I wanted to overclock this but I have no idea where to start or how to do it.

Only if you are lucky, for this memory is 800. As for instructions, how about checking toms's overclocking foruns?

I bought it by accident and I can't return it now...

I see...
Try your luck, then. What's your CPU, anyway?
Chances are that you won't need to go that far.
Think about it: setting your FSB@400 and your multiplier@9, you'll get 3.6Ghz on a E8400, or 20% increase over stock speed.
Not that good, but not that bad.

My cpu is a q9450. Not sure what my RAM is rated to run at.

Your systems runs stock @8x333, or 2,66Ghz.
If I am not mistaken, with careful adjustments in volts, cooling etc. theoretically you could get to 3.6Ghz (9x400Mhz), or 35%.
Please, just don't go OCing. Read a tutorial first.
There is one very good here, at tom's.
Good luck
