is anyone using this memory ocz2n800sr4gk 2x2=4 gigs in an evga 780i mobo with xp media center 32bit . my friend couldnt get it to work . so he bought some corsair 2x2=4 6400 dhx . and it didnt work either . so he went with vista 64 and it worked . so is 2x2=4 only for 64bit or is he doing something wrong

It depends on what went wrong. Generally, the rule is to install with 2 GB and then put the other 2 GB in after the install. If the install wasn't the problem, then you might want to specify what was.

You need a 64-bit OS to use 4+ gigs of RAM. that is why they make 64-bit processors and operating systems
