I'm building a new system on a budget of about $900(a bit over now with shipping). I'm just going to take the CD/DvD drive out of my old pc to save a few bucks. Do you see any problems or anything I'm missing? I don't plan on OC'ing so I'm thinking the stock cooler will do fine.
Every thing is good . If you plan to OC get a good CPU cooler. Also consider this RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820231122 Its 2x 2GB so you have 2 slots open for the future. That RAM OCs quite well too.

There are a couple builds i have seen around google that are based on the 8800 GT. I know the antec case is cheaper than 120... I was going to get it for a while Comp-usa should be the cheapest and cirsuit city does free shipping after the rebate i beleive it comes out to be 90$... freakin rebates I got to do them still. Might see some price drops later on if that helps. CPU (computer power users) just ran an aritcle on good mobos... but your pick should be good! My antec 900 pricing is prolly the only useful info in this banter! haha gl to you
Thanks for the reply. I will definitely get a better cooler if I decide to OC down the road. It shouldn't be a problem to upgrade later as long as I clean the CPU and reapply some new thermal compound right? I figured 4GB would hold me over for quite a while on memory so I went the cheap route of 4x1GB sticks.
Looks good, you might want to consider a Cooler Master case if you want to save some money. I have a centurion 5 housing a similar build that is working quite well for me. Never heard of the PSU company, so no clue on it's quality.
I just went with one of the tier 2 psu's on that list that keeps getting posted on these forums. Dont have the link right now. It has modular cables so thats a plus.
