Was going through the manual and it lists an OPT1 that will enable 150mb/s. The default is off from the factory but what would happen if i turned it on? It says to only enable if the hard drive is used in a enterprise storage environment.

Not much info, but isn't this just an option between 1.5Gbps and 3.0Gbps mode for Serial ATA disks? If both support 3.0Gbps (300MB/s) you don't need to set it to 1.5Gbps.
