Hey! I recently signed up with Optus ADSL2+ (australian company)

however I am using the D-Link DIR-655 Xtreme N Gigabit Router and they have given us the Netgear DG834GSP Wireless Modem Router and I was wondering if i will have to change my modem to use ADSL2+

or if I can keep my modem and just put in the CD? Or will I even need the CD? Does anyone have this knowledge already?
