How do i get a intel core duo 2.0ghz to run faster?

Hey guys i am in the middle of building my computer amd i am using a nividia nforce 650i motherboard with a intel core duo 2.0ghz processor.Now i have heard i can get up to 2.5ghz and 3.0ghz with this processor. Can i have some advice or be told how this is done, because this is my first build and i would like to learn alot from it. Thank You,

With my 1.86GHz E6300 processor (and an Asus P5W DH motherboard), getting a 25% overclock was as easy as increasing the FSB (front side bus) from 266MHz to 333. Couldn't be any easier, and it's been running like that for about 18 months now. No playing with voltages or memory timings...
