I just thought i might ask if there's any little program out there that could say,...boost the sound level in volume on my card?

Errr.. nope.

Programs for sound cards generally control the hardware. So using a different software isn't going to make it louder. If windows volume control isn't loud enough, then perhaps getting better amplified speakers will. :D

Oh.... so your watching low qualtiy movies on a laptop, while being on a.... 747? WTH? Get real dvd movies watch/listen to or something.... :kaola:

Other then that, you would perhaps need some kind of movie editor which can enhance perhaps the sound, but would make the movie larger in file size. I use nero, but never had to really adjust the sound level or quality. Not sure if there any freebies you could try out.

BTW... sure you could hook up amplified speakers, just get the ones that are battery powered, and make sure you sit where no one else is sitting.. o O (maybe the cargo bay?)

Edit:

If the movie file is compatable, you might be able to use Windows Movie Maker... perhaps?
