iono why it wudnt, my mother board supports 133mhz fsb, and its socket 775. can u tell me why it wudnt work? is it incompatible with the 680i chipset or something?

Well the manufatuers website is bland as crap... no specific CPU support for it. As I heard the 680i series was unable to support the C2Q Yorkfeilds but nothing on the Penryns. Call them and ask thats all you can do.

I was under the impression that for older motherboards there would be updates for the bios to support 45nm, but don't take my word for it.
