Actually blashyrkh--- The INQ did do an article on this what? 2 weeks ago, and it was talked about here at toms by us forum members. The article was pretty much the same info as this one, even the headline was nearly the same "RV700 has taped out", so shame on Fud for copying them.

The question is if any respins are required. Each trip to the FAB takes 2-3 months. Once the silicon is set, add another couple of months for the board partners to do their thing. At minimum we are talking 5-6 months from now till we see R700, I'm guessing around 9.
