Hi all,
I was just wondering what are the ideal timings for ram and cpu to overclock it to 3.6ghz

Here are my specs

Motherboard: ASUS P5N-D
CPU: Intel Core 2Duo E8400
Memory: Corsair 2 X CM2X1024-6400C4

I'm most puzzled for the CPU frequency and voltage.

Thank you in advance!

LoL MrsBytch.

Agreed.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution to overclocking. Read up on it. Check out the guides. Experiment with it like everyone does.

Thanks for the tips and links!

But theres just one problem. The Asus P5N-D motherboard dosen't seem to allow me to set the FSB before the multiplier... I would have to set it to 1600? (400 X 4). For more "detailed" settings it tells me to activate CPU N/2 Ratio. The problem is, I can't find any option named that and I've scourge the net for queries on this, and I have found none. :(

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: - Scratch that

The bios is just to simple for my mind I guess, I can directly enter the FSB "actual" value. I enter 1600 and then I boot with 3.6 ghz.

Thanks for everyones help, I got more then what I asked for and it's perfect!
