New build just lets a out a loud constant tone

All is well. I forgot to power plug in my gfx card. Its always the simple things you forget to do. Well that probally won't be last issue.

*Edit* I originally thought it was my UPC, but actually Im starting to think its my new build. any suggestions while I look around? New build just lets a out a loud constant tone then shuts down then starts up again with the tone.


Its an APC. This thing is right out the box from best buy. Not sure if its refurbished. Looks as if it was retaped and there was a reciept on it with bunch of test-pass on it. Im not sure if they do that for all of them or not. O paid retail. But all I have pluged in right now is comp, monitor and dinky speakers. I have a 520w PSU, is that too much? This is my first UPS, I don't know much about these things. But thought I read here that the watts doesn't need to be above PSU. Just got done with my build. Could it be with my computer? Im no engineer.

Oh tone starts when I power on my comp.

Does it mean I need I need something above 650w just for my comp?
