Can you recommend a CPU - GPU - MBoard combo?

Hi,

I have lots of RAM (2gb of DDR), a decent box, a good power supply (500w), lots of hard drive space. Now I'm looking to get a new system by just buying a new motherboard, cpu and gpu. I want to do some good gaming (not necessarily "bleeding edge" though) with a 512meg GPU. Any recommendations for a motherboard/cpu/gpu combo?

Unfortunately, that DDR ram isn't going to be useful in any modern machines. You'll have to figure on getting some DDR2 ram as well as a new motherboard, cpu, and gpu. If your budget is large enough, than ImajorI's suggestion is a good one.

It will not be bleeding edge, but it will do decently in games.
