Is my mobo dead?

Surfing the web last night and my computer suddenly froze, powered the PC down, and tried to start it up again.

Got nothing on screen, but my fans and several LED's on the motherboard itself and the front of my case come on.

I tested my CPU and graphics card on a friends PC who has the exact same motherboard as me, and both worked fine.

Are there any further checks I can do to confirm that it's my motherboard?

Also, in the event that it is indeed dead, I intend to replace it with the same model, will this allow me to continue using my RAID 0 array without losing any data?

It's an Asus P5N32-E SLI PLUS 775.

Does that just involve taking it out for a minute or so? If so, i've done that.

You could use your friend's motherboard to backup the RAID and then recreate it on any motherboard. Or when you replace your motherboard you could get another Nvidia chipset (same generation or newer) and your RAID should port straight over.

I was planning on replacing it with the exact same model, so would this just work straight away, or would I insert the RAID driver floppy and it would then detect that the hard drives have an existing array on them?
