Are Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4DHX same as Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400. can i combine both of these in my computer? Will it read all 4gb. Currently running xp pro. Thanks!

Those aren't really matched pairs, but the only difference I can see between the two is the "DHX" or "Dual-Path Heat Exchange" and the timings on the DHX ram. If you matched the timings, it would probably work...

Also, it will read all 4GB if you have a 64bit OS. You'll want to find that out before you buy a full 4GB. A 32bit OS will recognize between 2.7-3.5GB of RAM... but from what I hear, you can force the system to recognize all 4GB. (I'm not sure there is actually an advantage to this though, because most 32 bit non-business applications will never use more than 2GB of RAM... so it's kind of a waste of money unless you are considering an upgrade in the near future.)

From what i know i thought the DHX timing is 4-4-4-12 i thougth the xms2 was also 4-4-4-12? Not sure what bit i have but i'm thinking about going vista. Can some one clarify for me if the xms2 is 444-12 or 555-12. I did a couple of research some say 5's and some say 4's.
