I have a HP Pavilion ze4145 notebook with Windows xp. I can only record data using CD-R or CD-RW. It does not burn DVD disk. I need to know what disk should I use and how many its going to take to copy all my stuff before I do system recovery. Also where do I go in my computer to copy all my stuff that I have stored in my computer.

A good way to go is an online backup such as Mozy. Once the Mozy utility is installed, It will backup automatically, you really don't need to do anything more if you don't want to. Mozy works really well I think.
