Hello All,

I've been looking around on Tom's Hardware and Adobe forums for an answer to my question, and I cant seem to find one. So Im going to try my luck here...

My system has 2 x 160Gig Hard drives.
I would like to partition the hard drives for optimal performance for Adobe CS4.
So naturally I would partition my 2nd physical drive to have a Pagefile Partition (6gigs?)
But then reading on the Photoshop forums and even on Adobes website we are encouraged to create a "Scratch Disk" for Photoshop (Similar to windows pagefile from what I understand) I would assume this would be about 14Gigs?

Now here is my question:

Where would I put the partitions?

Physical Drive 1 = 160Gigs:
Partition 1: OS & Adobe Applications & Office Etc = 100Gigs
Partition 2: Working Photoshop Files & Documents etc = 60Gigs

Physical Drive 2 = 160Gigs:
Partition 1: Pagefile Partition = 6Gigs
Partition 2: Photoshop Scratch Disk = 14Gigs
Partition 3: Music, Movies, Downloads etc = 140Gigs

Does this sound like it would work well?
I do download music and TV shows quite often and they would be on my second partition.
I really don't have the funds to invest in a 3rd Drive at the moment even tho that would seem like the best solution.

System Specs are:
Pentium D CUP 2.80GHz
2GB Ram
Radeon X850 256MB Ram
2x 160G HDD

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks :)
