Hi guys,

I have tried searching here and browsing other threads and can't find anything that fixes my horrible ping issue.

I have tried multiple methods to try and fix this, but can't figure out anything that works.

I have 2 systems running next to me right now. One is built with Windows XP and other is this one Vista. With my XP setup i get my full advertised speeds (10/1) with a 10-15 ping to www.speedtest.net. With my Vista setup my download speed is great, but upload is slow and it has a 200 ping. i used the same network cable for both setups at different times

here are some of the things i tried to fix it.

Netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

netsh interface tcp set global congestionprovider=ctcp

i have also disabled the windows firewall

i tried to hook directly up to my modem instead of through the router

i tried this method too http://www.testmy.net/t-18907

i dont know what else to try. any suggestions would be great.

Upgrade to XP SP3?

If download is fine, and your not lagging in game, I wouldn't worry too much. I get 1.5MB down, and 200k up, and I could care less. :D
