Still can't decide on a video card

I'm going to get a Q6600, 4 gb gskill ram, 500 gb barracuda, antec 900 case, and probably a corsair or PCP silencer power supply. What I can't decide on is the video cards.
I play lots of games at 1680x1050 and will probably want to play most future games at that resolution. I can't decide between 1x 8800 GT 512mb, 1x 8800 GTS 512MB (G92), or 2x 8800 GT 512mb. If I want to just play at said resolution what would be the best card value for me (I'm currently leaning to the GTS but not sure). Please recommend a mobo according to the card setup. Also keep in mind that I'll probably just get a DS3R mobo if I go one card, and I don't want to spend overboard on an SLI mobo, so probably around 200 tops recommendation for the SLI mobo please.

Go with the geforce 8800 gtx 0C 768mb, now thats a card to compete with.

at 1680x1050, a single 8800GT 512mb would be the best "value" cuz it performs on par with the 8800GTS at that resolution. You wouldn't really need an SLI configuration at that res.

so in short best value 8800GT then 8800GTS then 8800GT SLI

So is everyone in agreement with the 1x evga 8800GT 512mb and DS3R mobo for my 1680x1050 set up? also is nowdirect.com a reliable seller (241 for a 8800 GT atm)

Be careful, because if you're using a 32 bit OS, you're not going be able to use all 4 gb.
You have to address everything you have, including your video ram, so your video card alone would eat 512mb already into your 4gb addressing space.
You should probably drop down to 3gb if you're going to use a 32 bit OS, because there are many other parts that your cpu has to address, which adds up.

Ignoring that issue, I would also got with the 1x 8800GT 512mb.

hmm, i would go for 1x8800gt as of today, get a p35-ds3r (i have it its amazing..) and you should be set for quite some time. the gts is a rip off IMO, its really not a big improvement over gt, just 16 more shaders...you can live w/o them

as for the seller, i dont know, i would probably go with one thats well known if i were you...but thats just me.
