I have a Lacie Big Disk which it appears the usb board went out. I hooked it up and it detected that there
was a Lacie Big Disk hooked up but for some reason i was getting a PCI Mass Storage Controller error. All of
my other externals work fine. Anyway I unhooked it and did the reset sequence to see if that solved the problem.
I hooked the power back up to the drive and got a puff of smoke from the usb board in the area were the cord plugs
in.

Its a 500GB spanned (from what i gather) on two drives. They are IDE and id like to know if there is a way i can
hook this up either directly to the pc or thru something i can purchase. Im guessing its not possible to read these
drives unless they are hooked up together, and im assuming they have to be on the same IDE cable. Not sure
on the jumpers as one has none and the other has half a jumper. At any rate I would appreciate any opinions
and suggestions as to how i can get in long enough to copy the contents and reformat.

Thanks in advance,
