I would like some feedback, given the dilemna of professionally building Windows Home Server, which has a split identity.
One build would require least expensive hardware, as it is only for data backup/sharepoint/home security and home automation. None of which is extremely demanding, but please remember this is for an appliance, so the mobo must be rock solid, and very inexpensive.
The other build is very different, as using WHS for Home Theater requires a very fast mobo/cpu combo, with significant throughput, for HD streaming to multiple viewing sources.
Any ideas?
Ben
