Hey guys,

Here is my problem...

current setup:
----------
SATA:primary HDD (boots winXP)
PATA:secondary (non boot HDD)
PATA:DVD-RAM drive
---------
When connected like this all hardware is detected and shows in windows and on BIOS etc...BUT when in windows or even using a boot DVD the writer does not work.

In windows it prompts to enter a disk and on boot nothing happens at all, even when manually choosing it!

Any ideas on this?

p.s. i have tried alot of different jumper setups for the PATA drives with no luck :( BIOS is also up to date (im running an ASUS A8N-SLI deluxe mobo)

Cheers
