In my eyes, you have redeemed yourself, your first post gave me quite a laugh. "256mb....? ****!" Can't wait to get my hands on a new Intel Proc, and If i didnt have a GTX, that GT deal looks sweet as honey.

Yeah, hopefully we get some new benches from Tom's Hardware on the e8400. Also, I hope they do an overclocking review to see how high they can push it on air.

Take note of the Availability Date for this Chip....................

It's overpriced, but...........

its not good theory.

Yeah that's going to be a serious chip. I'm going to keep this thread bumped up, that way anyone looking to buy either one of these parts can get them for relatively cheap.

12mb of cache is sick, I remember when my 512k Barton was crazy.

Not a bad deal either for those on a budget:

SAPPHIRE 100213 Radeon HD 2900GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - OEM

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814102712

Performs SLIGHTLY faster than a X1950 Pro, about on par with 7900GT.

------------------------------ Anxiously awaiting the Hydra 100 and the Hydra Engine...

Yeah I've been trying to suggest that card when anyone ever asks about a ~$100 dollar card. Too bad I always go ignored lol.

I have another deal, it's not really a graphics card, but it's still worth mentioning.

Antec Sonata III for $50 dollars after $25MIR, with 500watt Earthwatts PSU. http://shop1.outpost.com/product/5178426 When you add it to the cart, it gives you the rebate. Enjoy.

good deal on that case/psu. wish I had a deal like that when I built 2 months ago!
