Here is my problem, a client of mine wants to know when the processors in the servers I'm about to sell to him are manufactured. The problem is that he wants to know that in advance so I cannot wait until the servers arrive to check that out.
Please give me a hint where to look for something like that besides wikipedia.

Each chip has a date stamp on it. If he wants an exact date, that's the only place to find it. If your supplier has the chips now, he msy be willing to pass the info along.

Hewlett Packard don't have them here on stock, since I have to place an order to them so they can ship the servers to me. I don't need an exact date, my client wants the processors to be manufactured after december 2006 and I need a way to prove it before I place the order.

You'll probably have to ring them and order over the phone then.
What CPU will be in the servers?
