From my experience: very well

I've got a GA-MA770-DS3 with an Athlon 4800+ Brisbane and I run it at 3GHz (12x250) with just 1,25V Vcore (24/7 OC), I've tested stability with Prime95 and OCCT.
I've also managed to get 3,125GHz (12,5x250), but then I had to raise the Vcore to 1,375V (0,25V above highest stock voltage).

The GA-MA770-DS3 is capable of giving a ~300MHz Reference clock on stock northbridge voltage,
if you increase the northbridge voltage with the slightest (don't know how much exactly but the lowest voltage increase above the default) you can get 333MHz. I haven't tried to raise the reference clock more than that.
