Hello,
My KM400-M2 motherboard (AMD Processor)does not detect my SATA DVD drive. The setup is enabled. What is wrong?

Are you sure it`s a sata dvd drive ? and not a sata harddrive? kite3

Hi from KW4BC,
My drive WAS a SONY dvd drive ($22.99), and I callled Sony and got the driver for my model number. Afer I ran it the computer listed it correctly as a serial device (by model number) but I could not read or write to it. I returned it for exchange for an IDE drive which shold arrive this week.
Thanks, kw4bc
