I'm looking for a 1TB HDD for storage and among them, I am considering these ones:
Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1500GB 1.5TB SATA2 7200RPM 32MB Cache Ncq Hard Drive Oem (ST31500341AS)
Samsung SpinPoint F1 HD HD103UJ 3.5" 1TB 7200rpm 32MB Cache Hard Drive - SATA2 (HD103UJ)
Western Digital WD1001FALS Caviar Black 1TB SATA2 7200RPM 4.2MS 32MB 3.5IN Dual Proc Hard Drive (WD1001FALS)

As of this posting date:
Seagate $150 v.s. Samsung $117 v.s. WD $135 (give or take a few $$ here and there)

There's a good article that includes a review and comparison of these drives, particularly the Seagate, at this forum and it can be found here:

The Seagate is cheapest $/terabyte and has the most storage capacity but many reviews aren't the most favourable. OTOH, the WD 1TB 'Black' HDD receives good reviews and has good specs. It also is decent for power/wattage efficiency. The Samsung 1TB HDD is a bit older than the other drives and is the next cheapest out of the three. It's performance is decent in comparison considering it came out earlier than the other two.

I bought the Samsung 1TB but the other two weren't available at the time. I am wondering if I should just buy another one or go for one of the other two. The Samsung 1TB has been fine so far and I store my data on it.

I have another WD 320 GB HDD for my OS and it's been great, too.

So, I was hoping to receive some recommendations, advice and comments on these drives. Which one do you think I should choose? ;-)
