Hi All,

I have asked this before and I have read several threads on OCing and have not run into the CPU/MB combo. So I need to know what you would suggest on OCing this system. I can get it to run at 2.8 on the cpu and 800 on the memory. I really can't tell a difference in performance on the benchmarks though.

I ran the ATI tool on the VC and the memory will not go above 1250 without overheating. I just need some suggestions on which way to go here.

What I am looking for is to be able to have a stable OC on the cpu at 3.1 or 3.2, the memory actually be 1066 or higher and stable. So far with all my tweaks I can't reach this. I have to let either the cpu go lower and the mem higher or vice-versa. I want both of them to be stable at a decent rate. The VC I can handle, just getting the cpu and memory at a decent stable rate is my goal.

Remember that since all data to/from RAM has to go through the FSB as well, your data throughput is limited to the speed of the slower of the FSB and memory bus. Sounds like you're shooting for roughly a 1400MHz FSB throughput, so the fastest your RAM will need to run is about DDR2-700.
