:hello:
i used to have a 9800 pro , in the control center i could extend my monitor to the tv. I used to watch a movie on tv and my little sister did other stuff
on the hd 2600 xt i can't do that .I can only drag the tv on to the monitor and the monitor just shuts off but the tv works

if someone can help me

Try making your TV a clone, and then making it so that video on the clone will go to full screen. You should then be able to minimize the video player on your monitor and do what ever you want. You can also try making the TV your second monitor and then dragging your video player to it.

You can also try with windows built in option to extend your desktop(Display properties => settings)....maximize a video player on one and work on the other....

i can not make a clone in theater mode because when i enable the second display it just doesn't work also with the nukemaster idea doesn't work it doesn't want to enable the second display
i used 7.11 7.12 and know 8.1 and no change
also i have a video onboard disabled and the dvi is in the second jack from left to write

Well thats kind of odd.....

unfortunately i do not have a 2600xt to play with, but it did work on the X1900XT and X850 cards...

well boys and girls i am a retard, a lazy retard all i had to do is put the dvi in the first display and all retuned to normal
i kind of knew that but a restart it's so hard to do
all returned to normal the control center, the ati tray
i am happy again
thank you for all your suport without you i wouldn't even bothered:))
