Cannot update drivers?

I have a ATI Radeon 1900XT and haven't been able to update the drivers for a while now. I'm sure that I'm deleting my current drivers and rebooting before trying to move on. I go to add/remove programs and remove all the ATI based ones, I even went to the device manager and uninstalled the video display drivers there.
After this and another reboot I try to install the drivers, but it ALWAYS, always comes up with the same error saying that "Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue."
Any ideas?

There are several driver cleaner utilities out there, or you can just edit your registry.

I'd recommend one of the utilities if you are not familiar with doing manual registry editing.

Thanks, do I use the program before or after I manually delete the ATI files from "Add/Remove programs"?
