Register or log in to remove.

Click Start > Run > type "msconfig" > Click the "BOOT.INI" tab > Click "Check All Boot Paths"

Now, look under the "[operating systems]" tag. Do you see anything that says "Windows Vista"? If so, you can set that as your default or change the "Timeout:" option to wait longer before it selects an OS and boots.

If it isn't displayed on the menu, then you may need to reinstall on the same partition as XP or specify the path on the boot menu.
