P5B Deluxe - what RAM should I use?

I have the Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi -Ap Edition Mobo and was thinking of upgrading to better/more RAM when I get Vista. I read on the website and box: the P965 chipset supports up to DDR2 PC2-6400 (800) RAM, but also the Kingston Hyperx PC2 8500 (1066) RAM.

The problem is this PC 8500 RAM appears to only come in up to 1GB sticks. I want 2 * 2GB sticks, so I have the option of upgrading to 8GB later. http://www.kingston.com/hyperx/products/khx_ddr2.asp Also, if I upgraded my E4300 CPU to a faster (1333 Mhz) CPU (such as E8400/Q9450?) would the CPU FSB be throttled to 1066Mhz? (the max supported on P965)

Does the board only support Kingston HyperX PC2-8500 RAM or any PC2-8500 RAM? Any recommendations on what RAM and CPU I should get? I was thinking of getting 1066Mhz RAM and overclocking my E4300 so the FSB:D RAM ratio was 1:1. Is this good idea?

Ok, most boards will say "supports up to 800mghz" for ram but most of them can go higher. As for ram, go for some Corsair or newer revision OCZ ram, just make sure to bump the voltage a little higher around 2.0V for stability. As for the CPU, I'm not sure if it will be throttled down to 1066 but i think the FSB can handle 1333. You might need a BIOS update before poping in one of the 45nm chips. The FSB to ram ratio of 1:1 is perfect.

OCZ/Corsair @ 2.1V, DDR 2 800 will basically be all you will need.

E4300 can run 400 fsb x9 or x 8 and then its 1:1. So you will have a 3.2 or 3.6ghz cpu.

If you want 1066 then your fsb is 266 which isnt exactly the max poential of your cpu. Save the money on DDR 2 800 Ram and OC more on CPU, and with 800 ram, you can get a tighter timing.
