I just built a budget gaming rig and here are the specs:
e6550, Crucial Ballistix 2 x 1gb PC2-6400, EVGA 8800 gt, Xion Supernova 600W, GA-P35-DS3L, Gigabyte 3D mercury case, WD 160 gb HD

I connected everything and when I push the power on, the LEDs lite up, the fan starts spinning and the water pump starts pumping away but nothing appears on the monitor. I don't have a case speaker so I don't know what is wrong. I tried plugging in the USB keyboard with backlight and the backlight does not turn on. I tried this with all the USB ports. Is there a problem with the mobo or the power supply? I can't figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PSU sounds like its working. Double check the connections to the MB and video card, the problem is one of those 2.

What's the watercooling? I would only put watercooling in an existing working pc, rather than a brand new question mark. You don't know whether it's the pc or the cooling. If there's nothing hooked to the cpu fan, hook up some fan to it. i.e. rear exhaust fan.
