ok iv got a asus maximus formula motherboard with the latest bios, and a nvidia 8800gts 512mb. In riva tuner the option to adjust fan speed doesnt even show up... iv used the program on a number of other computers so i know the layout of the program.. etc and ntune wont work either because its an intel x38 motherboard. so what options does that leave me? I need to increase my gpu fan speed to 60% minimum always because its far too hot atm.

any suggestions? thanks

Is the cards power lead long enough to reach a fan header on the M/B? , that way you could control the fan speed from the BIOS perhaps.
