Hello,

I am looking at the Q6600 and I noticed that there are 2 different core steppings. G0 and B3. I thought that the G0 was the newest? Which stepping is the most up to date? And I also want the one that is most Overclocking friendly... :bounce:

If you are walking into a place such as Fry's and buying it, look at the product code on the label. That's the longest bar code on the label. The last 5 characters are "SLACR".

Do you suppose that someone at Intel has a sense of humor?

Last I heard, there were still some B3's in the pipeline. If you are going to mail order, order from a place that will send you a G0.

We have not released giant badgers in Basra.

Most places at pretty friendly about the G0 steppers now and sell them as a separate stock item.
