G'day -

THE SETUP
I am encountering a problem with my X-FI setup that has just started interfering with my RECORDING of DJ sets with the AUDIO CREATION mode (which of course effects ADOBE AUDITION). I have music playing out of my mixer with RCA cables and then into the SB X-FI sound card with a 3.5mm jack.

THE PROBLEM
In AUDIO CREATION MODE the record monitor is only picking up good level on the LEFT channel but not the RIGHT which is very low - a third of that with the right channel provides.

Yet if I plug my iPod in with a 3.5mm - 3.5mm jack I get both levels perfectly...

My checklist. I have...

Un/Reinstalled the XFI software - didn't work.
Changed the cables - didn't work.

I know its my soundcard or PC setup because the same RCA-3.5mm leads provide great 2 channel sound to my Titanium POWERBOOK - but for some reason the X-FI is having trouble reading that right channel.

Any ideas people.

Thanks in advance.
