I know some of you may remember me from the X2 6000 fiasco, which we thought was the culprit behind my games crashing. Well, that was not the case. My Sound Blaster Audigy was the problem the whole time. Not because I had both onboard sound and Creative sound enabled, because I'm using the Realtek HD Audio right now while my SB is enabled w/o any problems. It seems that the problem lies with the SB itself, nothing else. I really like the sound that the SB produces but can't use it because of the crashes. Here are my hardware specs:
I have a GA-MA69GM-S2H mother board, 4 gigs of OCZ RAM, an ATI X1950 Pro 512 MB graphics card. Also I have a 500 watt power supply.
Is there anyway to get my sound card to work properly?
