Hi everyone,

I have an ABIT IC7-G motherboard which came with Winbond Hardware Doctor. The Hardware Doctor was going into alarm and reporting the VTT Voltage as 1.65v, it now won't start up! Is there anyway that I can reduce the VTT Voltage or is it a motherboard or processor problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

In the bios setup (depending on the bios) there is sometimes an adjustment. But first find out what processor you have, so that you can know the correct voltage to set it to. If there is no other alternative:
Open the computer if needed, take off the heat sink, wipe off the grease, look at the processor number, check the processor manufacturer for the voltage specs.
You must re-grease the processor before putting the heatsink back on.
Press F2 during start up to enter the bios setup, adjust your voltage if possible.
