Is upgrading from E2180 to E6550/6750 worth it?

if you can run the 6750 at 3.4-3.6ghz at higher fsb and you have high end gpu - yes

if you run it same speed it would be very small

Depends. Games will benefit FPS wise from the extra cache and your overclocking will yield higher returns. Other than that, keep the E2180.

If you have your E2180 overclocked to 3.0GHz+, no it wouldn't be worth it.

Also keep in mind that the 6x50 series is replaced with the E8x00. The E8400 is about the same price as the E6750, with better performance than the E6850, plus it runs cooler.
