Im looking for some recommendation on hardware for a new gaming rig.
I have about £600 to spend on RAM, CPU, Motherboard and Graphics card.
I already have a thermal take 750w PSU so power should be no issue. The monitor iam using is a 19inch widescreen at a res of 1440x900.

I was wondering what would be a good setup for today and for the next year atleast. Also is it worth waiting for the 3870x2 cards next month?

This is an idea i have at the moment. Personally im not sure what eam is sould use 6400 or 8500 and I might be able to stretch it to 2 Hd370 cards in crossfire.

Splendid
Looks great!

Just personal preference, I would go with ASUS P5E to overclock that Wolfdale to 4+ Ghz. I would get a good aftermarket cpu cooler like U120E or Big Typhoon or Tuniq.

Do you have a pc case?
