What memory do you have in your GA-(E)X38-DS4?

I just ordered a GA-EX38-DS4 with 2GB of OCZ Platinum rev2 memory... I'm kind of having second thoughts about the memory (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227139) since I have used exclusively Corsair or Crucial memory in my last half-dozen system builds without any problems.

Does anyone have any experience with this memory in Gigabyte motherboards?

I decided to stay at 2GB since I don't have plans (or a need) for a 64-bit OS for the near term, and I've heard of problems in 32-bit systems with >2GB.

Anyone have any suggestions if for some reason this memory doesn't work out?

i have had that memory for a year, with the gigabyte p965 dq6 rev. 2 - i started with a 2x1gb kit and then added another 2x2gb kit in the fall. worked fine at the oc of 3.4 with my q6600.

i actually ordered the same mobo a couple days ago so i am also hoping that the plat. rev. 2 works dandy in the ex38-ds4

my mobo comes tuesday so ill find out then. i think we will be ok.

couldnt go wrong with this mobo for $200, day after i snagged it at that price from newegg it went OOS.

I have the X38-DS4. I've got 2 sticks of Crucial Ballistix in there. It over clocks pretty well, but currently it is at stock speeds at 1:1 and 4-4-4-12.
The default DDR voltage on this board is 1.8v so I had to up that by 0.4v to get the 2.2v that Crucial recommend for this ram.
