Heatsink Choice

Hey guys! i have been researching for a while now.
I have been overclocking a lot and i think im ready to ditch my stock AMD cooler.
i have had my eyes on the "Xigmatek S1283"
i have also looked at the Sunbeam Core contact freezer
I think the TRUE is out of question since the price doesnt equate to the performance gain.

I am sort of on a tight budget so i am willing to sacrifice 1-5 degrees for a signifigant price difference.
suggestions would be very nice.

I would get the XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm or the XIGMATEK HDT-SD964 92mm

but is there anything for less money that provides almost as good as the TRUEs and the Xigmatek?

xigmatek s1283 = $/performance champ.

Yeah that rebate on newegg is nice. i think ill just go with the s1283 since it seems to be cheap and effective

Yeah, get the s1283. I have a TRUE and it's just not worth the money you pay. The contact surface is not even flat on most of them, you gotta lap them yourself if you wanna get the heatsink that you paid out the ass for.
