I just installed a new LG GH22LP20 22x with no problems. I was testing CD playing capability before deciding if I wanted to remove my old dvd-cd player when I ran into trouble.

Dvd's play perfectly but cd's skip.

I haven't had a chance to burn anything yet, or try lightscribe, but I wanted to find out if the cd playing issue was common.

Anyone run across this before and have any suggestions?
