8800 GT wont show temperature

My almost bradn new Asus En8800 GT graphic card aint showing it's temperature in either Rivertune or Nvidia Monitor. It just says GPU: 0C. Anyone know what causes this and if it's fixable? I got the latest drivers + 9 directx (Using Windows 32bit version).

santais have you tryed deleteing both of those monitoring program and reinstalling them?

I had speedfan do that and I just deleted it and reinstalled program it worked after that.

Yeah also tried that. Even had a total windows reinstall (Had another problem). Didn't work before reinstalling Windows and don't work now either :/

if it is lots of people are having same problem because asus put a thermal sensor on it and aftermarket temp gauges want work they say they have a fix with their software temp monitor?hope this helps you

I talked to Unwinder (autor of RivaTuner) yesterday and the temperature display is solvable since it is just a matter of reading it from the GPU internal diode, but forget about GPU ambient temperature, memory temperature, fan control and RPM because fan doesn't have tachometer and the card doesn't have ADT7473 hw monitor and controller chip like all other reference boards.
I wish I knew that before I bought it though.
