Hp pavilion dv1000 audio driver

Hello,

my hp pavilion dv1000 notebook does not give sound after installing window xp SP 2 on my laptop. i downloaded the audio driver on the hp website but it didnt work.

Well, uninstall the HP audio driver, turn off your antivirus and fire wall, re-install your audio driver, restart the computer. After the audio is installed and working, turn the anti virus and fire wall back on.
The anti virus and firewall will prevent the drivers from installing, in many cases.
