Changing boot up from IDE to SATA drive

I successfully imaged my IDE drive over to my new SATA using Seagate's software that came with the drive. Here's my last remaining problem:

My system produces a "No system" error when I boot up. I'm guessing it's still looking for the IDE drive, even though I unplugged it.

I can hit F8 and go to the boot menu, and then select the SATA drive and it boots up no problems.

Do I have to do this everytime, or is there something I can do? I have not tried switching the SATA drive to SATA slot # 1 (I currently plugged it into 6). I also have a non-system SATA drive plugged into slot 3, as well as a SATA DVD drive. Does anyone think the order is the problem.
