Ok evidently emp can't have any money because he'll blow it on his PC... This seems to be the case now anyway. I want.... err NEED... a good aftermarket cooler for my lovely GTS 320, would love to keep it under $50 (But just barely if I have to :D). I can't find for the life of me ANY HR-03 Plus whatsoever, so I thought I might check out other coolers and this is what my search has found:

Thermaltake CL-G0102 VGA Cooler - Retail (Thermaltake DuOrb)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835106112

ZEROtherm Hurricane HC92 Cu 8800 UFO VGA Cooler - Retail

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835887014

Arctic Silver Ceramique Thermal Compound - OEM

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835100009

So I can't decide... I'm leaning towards DuOrb 'cause it's cheaper, but I wouldn't regret getting the ZeroTherm one if it was worth the extra few bucks... Any opinions guys? (Also I put Ceramique because I've heard AS5 electric conductivity is a no-no for GPU, plus AS ceramique is slightly better... right?)

You should check for the Artic Cooling Accelero S1, it is real cheap and is the best cooler with the HR-03.

Here is some reviews:

For me, I owned several Thermaltake products and I always been disapointed about the noise they were doing. But the Artic Cooling solution with the Turbo fan module is supposed to be very quiet.

Good luck!!

Sir... does this work with the G80 8800GTS? If it does I'm willing to try anything as long as it's on stock on newegg. Also not that I like noise, but I'm not annoyed by it, and I much rather have a cooler GPU than a silent one.

add a blitz fan and save your money dude!
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835114024

the inside fan blows fresh air and pressurizes the intake

the back is an exhust for the vents in the 8800

Also I have to say that I need to keep my X-Fi XtremeGamer mounted on the 2nd PCI slot (I have PCI-e, then PCI-e x1, then 1st PCI, then X-Fi)

How safe would this be for my X-Fi as far as clearance goes? (I have a regular X-Fi XtremeGamer that looks like a half-height card, the one in the pic is the an Auzentech X-Fi Prelude for reference)

http://www.xsreviews.co.uk/images/ZEROtherm-8800-CU/large/ZEROtherm-CU-8800-Clearance.jpg

(That's the Hurricane HC92 8800)

At this point I'm leaning towards the ZeroTherm one more than the thermaltake, because the kit of the ZeroTherm one seems better for the 8800 cards (I don't know where to scavenge for thermal adhesive, ram sinks, etc...). But I'm open to suggestions.

i suggest the thermalright HR-03 GT. u can put it on either side of the card so it wont be a problem at all for clearance.

Why do you people keep suggesting coolers that my GTS 320 can't use? I'm honestly quite confused now... I want to cool a G80 card, not a G92...

Yeah I know dude... I also put on my post that I couldn't find any HR-03 plus on stock and that's why I was thinking of those two other coolers, I've tried Mwave, newegg, zipzoomfly, clubit, tigerdirect and they all seem out of stock.

well that website was helpful... it actually is what I was looking for earlier for reviews! It compares the HR-03 vs the Hurricane HC92 vs the DuOrb. Thinking strongly to get the Hurricane because the kit seems more complete for someone like me who is going to change his first GPU HSF and also it seems to have a broader compatibility range so it *might* work with a future graphics card.
