Regarding current LCD screens, what is the typical refresh rate?

I have an old Samsung SyncMaster 213T 21" and the maximum refresh rate is 60Hz...but I'm not sure if that's because of the monitor itself or my video card, which is even older and crappier.

So I wanted to see what the current LCD screens run at typically.

Thanks!

LCDs typically run at 60hz, although 100hz is becoming more common. I myself cannont see the difference between a 60hz set and a 100hz set, although apparently it helps with motion.
