Need Advice on Current Build

Hi my friend just purchased some new parts for his computer because his current system died on him.

He is going from an amd 3800X2 to a Intel 8400. also he has changed his mombo and ram.

After instaling his parts when he goes to power on his computer gives him a floppy disc error.

Will someone please post and agree with me he needs to reformat so he does not think im crazy.

Can you tell us where did you find those error message? Under windows?

First, if he didn't reformat / reinstall windows since he's upgrading the PC, the I agree 100% with you for reformat it.
