HELP CD drive not detected

Recently my CD/DVD/BlueRay Drive has not been showing up on my computer, it used to show up but now it dosent at all

Here are some relavent specs for my computer
Falcon Northwest
LG Blueray/ HD DVD optical drive
Running Vista

oh srry i left this off,

I made a link for my cd drive to my desktop (while the cd drive was working) and now it has a question mark on the CD-drive

but when i go into my computer it doesnt show anthing
