3.4Ghz overclock 9450. this ok?

hi, i've overclocked (well my mobo overclocked lol) my Q9450 to 3.4 using the cpu level up, i've left everything on auto, all i did was bump the FSB from 400 to 425 and changed ram volage to 2.1 but everything else is on auto. i ran prime95 for just under 12hours with no errors, i've still to test the ram. just wanted to know whta u guys think of this overclock and if anything is wrong, high, can be better ect heres the specs

Rampage formula
4Gb corsair xms2

I have no idea how hot Nb was and what the voltage is at as its all at auto
so what do u guys think?

Sounds like it is stable, I didn't see any temp mentions but so long as it is within Intel's specs(forget off top of head) then you should be golden.

use um... Speed fan or coretemp from within windows while stress testing to get a better idea of temps.

NB seems a little high so may consider setting a fan on it(if not provided), but I've been away a bit so that may be normal temp. I'd check your cpu temp also which I see no mention of. Looks like you didn't really mod CPU voltage though so that is good.

My Q9300 on Gigabyte X48 runs great at 3.4Ghz via the mobos "auto-voltages" and your chip can handle a little bit more than mine, so id say you are good to go. My temps and voltages are in the same ballpark as yours it seems.

Thanks for your thoughts people, i will keep an eye on the temps and may try to lower the voltages a bit to whatever i can get to whilst remaining stable

edit: i forgot to mention that i've upped the FSB TO 450 making it 3.6Ghz but i've also lowered nearly all of the voltages, i will post the exact voltages tomorrow once prime95 is finsihed but i've been runnig it for about 3hours so far and the temps on my cpu is 54c which is 4-5c lower than when i only had 3.4Ghz but more voltage. anyway i will follow up on this tomorrow when prime95 has ran for atleast 12 hours.

oh 1 more question, is it normal to have a 10c difference on say core0 to core 3, coz core 0 runs 54c but core 3 runs 42c. just not sure if this is normal

NB and cpu voltage most likely.

My 790i got my Q9450 to 3.6 and was stable with 1.278 on the cpu, and 1.5 on the NB. Ran over 8 hours prime 95 on small tfts.

Backed it down to 3.4, same voltage you have, and 1.4 on the NB.

The NB temp dropped 5c after thae lowering to 1.4.

I watercool everything but the NB, it has the annoyingly loud 50ish mm fan on it.

the ram is on auto and is always at a 1:1 so its on 450 with timing 5-5-5-18
